POST BASIC B. SC. NURSING


The aim of the Undergraduate Nursing Programme at the Post Basic level is to upgrade the diploma nurse after the G.N.M. program to prepare a competent nurse to provide care in all aspects as a teacher, supervisor & manager in a clinical/public health setting.

G.N.M. (GENERAL NURSING & MIDWIFERY)


General Nursing & Midwifery, popularly known as GNM, is a diploma course. The course is aimed at producing competent nurses. It is a divine service to humanity and is considered one of the prestigious courses. The course is taught to develop an aptitude for nursing and to provide the required knowledge and skills, to make the nurses capable of providing proper medical care to patients suffering from any type of illness.

A.N.M. (AUXILIARY NURSING & MIDWIFERY)


Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) is a two year diploma level course. The course makes aspirants familiar with the ways through which they can take care of the health related problems of sick, injured, recovering mothers, new-born, mentally challenged and old people. The course also provides knowledge regarding setting up the equipments of an operation theater, providing medication, maintaining health records of patients and other routine jobs.
